Safeguarding
Noor Harf teaches children on a parent account. A parent or trusted adult should stay nearby for students under 13. Teachers never see a family’s phone, email or WhatsApp.
Safeguarding lead
The named lead for child-safety questions is the academy owner — email contact@noorharf.com .
Teacher vetting
Teachers are adults who teach from a parent-chosen gender. We ask for identity and a police certificate or DBS-equivalent where the teacher lives. We do not publish individual certificates on this site. Ask the safeguarding lead if you need more detail.
Class recording
Join times may be logged. Classes may be reviewed for quality and safeguarding. We do not send families a downloadable recording as part of the normal class. Video is provided by the configured provider so that provider may process a live stream.
How to report a concern
Email contact@noorharf.com with the student’s first name, the class date and what happened. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office if it is about personal data.
Online safety rules for classes
- Classes run inside the Noor Harf portal. We do not send external Zoom links as the normal classroom.
- Teachers and families must not exchange personal numbers. Messages stay in the portal.
- A parent or trusted adult stays nearby for students under 13.
- Cameras stay on unless the teacher agrees a short exception.
- No screenshots or recordings of a child are shared outside the academy.
