Quran classes for adults

Live 1-on-1 Quran for adult beginners and returning learners. Private lessons, Qaida to Tajweed.

Who it is for

These lessons are for adult beginners and for anyone who learned before and then forgot. You work privately: one student and one teacher. Children have their own Quran for Kids page.

What is learned

You start with Qurani Qaida and Nazra — letters, joining, the short vowels, then reading the Quran. When you can already read, the teacher moves you into Tajweed and, over time, completing the Quran (Khatam), with a certificate.

Lesson format

Classes are 30 minutes, live and one-to-one in the Noor Harf classroom — not a children’s group, and not an outside Zoom link. You choose a female or male teacher. The same teacher keeps your weekly time, with a 15-minute gap after every class.

A typical lesson

If you are new, the first lessons stay with letters and joining. If you have read before, the teacher begins with a placement assessment and can use the revision path for people who stopped and want to return. Notes are written after each class.
